You know guys if MinMetals are involved, namely buying the 39% off Trafigura, in all probability your more than likely will see MinMetals bidding for the reminder of the company eventually.
MinMetals want to diversify more into copper assets. Their failed (C)$6 bil acquisition of Equinox has left them hungry and cashed up. AVM is a hell of a lot cheaper than (C)$6bil. Not also forgetting that MinMetals tried to takeover Oz Minerals in the doom and gloom of 2008. The bid only failed because the FIRB blocked the sale of Prominent Hill, however MinMetals acquired the rest of Oz Minerals assets.
