So much mindless cheerleading from so many right wingers who yet again are only intent on trying to create a crisis where there is none, so as to make the govt appear ineffectual and out of control. It's an age old tactic of Oppositions and the media to beat up this sort of stuff so as to force the government onto the backfoot and into days of messy responses. Great for readership, and the Opposition can continue to set the agenda.
We should see this for what it is....a pollie being silly. The public will quickly get over it; the Opposition should tread carefully. People in glass houses and all that. "
You are spot on there metal2. I have been hearing this from many a friend. People are waking up to this and come the next election abbott will IMO be seen as fool.
