NTU has Dy, probably the most critical among CREEs.
No matter how many REE minders outside of China comes online, Dy will be in shortage.
According to many market researches including Mr Kingsnorth's own, Dysprosium supply is expected to be 1,500 tonnes (including Mt Weld) in 2015 while the world demand is expected to be 2,000~2,500 tonnes.
This gap widens in 2,020 and 2,025. The supply still hovering at below 2,000 tonnes however the demand is to be around 5,000~8,000 tonnes.
With metallurgy already completed, NTU can be a significant REE player in very short term if they find Dy in economic quantity.
