that is true and i cringe when i hear it,but they have usually left the dog alone with a 3 year old and wonder what went wrong we introduced our dogs to my daughter slowly and never left them unsuprevised untill she was taller than them and they were in no doubt about there position in the pack,NO dog should be left alone with children,it is a difficult situation in the right enviroment bull terriers are fantastic familiy pets (ours slept with the cats) it is a shame that the tools who keep them to look "hard" give my dog a bad name
