Fully agree there Alan who in their right mind would want to buy a property when they have watched all the dodgy shortcuts taken.
The other problem is once again why buy at auction in a soft market? Allegedly a number of bidders were willing to spend over $1m for at least one of the properties there, but they are not going to spend that sort of money just for the sake of it. Unless there is active competition for a property you are better of letting it get passed in and negotiating the purchase via a normal sale under non auction conditions.
