Leon Byner on 5AA has just spoken with Ann Bressington who is an SA member of parliament. She is travelling with one of the convoy?s and has stated that Australian Federal Police have stopped all convoy?s proceeding to Parliament House. She also stated the convoy she is with has hundreds of trucks, cars and caravans. This is just one of the many convoy?s.
She is now standing on top of a hill overlooking the highway into Canberra and the convoy runs kilometres down the road.
There is no media with the convoy?s as they are waiting on the lawn at Parliament House for the convoy?s to arrive. So the pictures on the news tonight will not show very many people or vehicles.
The police will not state who ordered the shutdown of the convoy?s, which she states is a legally allowed protest in this country.
Who shut them down? Hmmm. The Fabian Socialists from the ALP and the Greens come to mind. Just to keep the Ranga in power.
