wrxinvestor, what people fail to realise that at $17.00 the company was fully valued.
several years ago when they were earning 100s of millions in interest and had a low AUD it would have been an excellent buy.
It since fell to mid 12's & 13'S and i started to buy because it is now undervalued based on the current business conditions. when their investments in bonds start to turn a larger profit and the dollar AU$ falls whichever first will add multiple $ to the qbe share price.
s short term i say sell because I'm a long term investor and despite what everyone has to say about QBE it is one of the best companies on the asx and best insurers in the world. remember you buy a company that has a great moat!!!
