'Pay over the odds and then try to sell over the odds'? Many would argue that is exactly what this property boom has been all about. Indeed all bubbles rely on it. With respect, you're getting sidetracked by this ratings issue. The program is about people doing up houses for profit. That's the point - not ratings. The rating are only of interest to Nine. And 'we' aren't using it as gospel, but I suspect that many may. Certainly the high ratings suggest many were fascinated as to the likely outcome, and they will all have seen the result.
