A: with great difficulty. you should hope that they offer to buy your shares off market, or that they liquidate the company at some stage and pay you the value of the share holding at that time (nett asset value in cash / number of shares on issue * number of shares you hold)

BUT, they may continue to run the company infinitely - paying themselves a wage, investing in whatever they choose and never needing to give you any return whatsoever. I think the buyback was the last chance for shareholder to depart, making managements life much easier in the long term.
