re: best places to buy property melbourne Ive read though this thread with interest and can relate to all sides , I prefer equities however I hold more wealth in property ..even though at times it can be a pain in the a#se ( tribunal heading today on one ) ... I like to use it as the backbone , I can gear off it nice an easily and mixed together with the use of some gtp investments etc .. pretty much always netts you into a nice position over 10 years or more .

Plus being involved with the subdivisions ,Im looking at it everyday.. I mainly look for quality new estates with potential , all my stuff is new with the expection of a 30 year old in Frankston Victoria .
Have just completed in the Sandhurst Club in Syke , but I like golf so more of a lifestyle choice .Probably the West of melbourne holds some good opportunities , but I have only ever purchased in the South - East .There is always some opportunity in property somewhere you just must do your homework .
