Hi All.

I came across a report about Kribiport last night.

Under Project Development Time lines it said.
Start of operations to relocate local residents affected by the project in October 2011.

Construction of access road to the port site,June 2011 - December 2012.

Finalizing the selection of private partners,in September 2011.

The program financed by China Eximbank,and directed by the Chinese company CHEC (China Harbour Engineering Company),expected to start in mid 2011.

Private partners in the development of the project.
Financing of basic infrastructure including port access channel to the port,the breakwater,the ferry docks,embankments behind the quays for the establishment of storage areas and the various networks and Direct port access. EXIMBANK CHINA.

Cam Iron SA.
The same work as above.
The procedure for selecting private partners continues with regular consultations undertaken since January 2009 and negotiations with investors and terminal operators in the dialogue pre-qualification.

A map of the Kribi Port complex includes CAMIRON stockyard and railway to the iron ore mine and iron ore terminal.
One thing of interest I picked up on was.
A spur rail line is shown running off SDL's rail line to the Kribi Port Projects.The rail spur runs the full length of the Kribi Project including passing the LNG terminal which is the nearest project at Kribi to SDL site,then Handling storage area,RTA and CAL Alumina terminals,Multipurpose terminal,storage area container terminal.

RTA Alumina plant is inland with SDL's rail line touching the plant boundary.A conveyor takes ore to the port.
