I've previously tried to work out what the impact of the class action would be. Most people seemed to think that insurance would cover most of the cost with the company paying court costs etc. Although I'm not sure if this is the case.
Given that there is a settlement means that it was only 50/50 that the CCP would lose, so that is why they are settling. It will be good to get this as a risk to the stock out of the way. I just hope that there is not much of an impact to earnings because of it.
I'd like to hear if anyone else has any other information on the possible impacts.
