All just my opinion but
Much clearer to me now, reading between the lines they have had a pretty heavy board meeting.
Some initiatives have been put in place to reduce cashburn,
Cut out the non performing initiatives e.g. Bayer
get rid of the staff that at present probably dont have much to do.
Give the Ceo (Jenny) a clear timeframe to get some of these partnering deals sorted for TB / Chronic Lung Disease. And potentially identify other initiatives to make returns for the business.
IF not successful, flick Jenny and the board look at alternatives for the business.
