Something strange in never-never land.
Durable orders, quite a significant economic indicator, were forecast to remain unchanged from the level of the previous month; the 'market' expected a rise of 0.3%; butthere has been an actual fall of 2.8%.
At 5am (beautiful brisbane time) with 1 hour to go, the NYSE has 36 new highs vs 122 new lows. The Nasdaq has 26 new highs vs 187 new lows.
Some gold for insurance would be a good move for mine.
