These guys ARE the underworld. Threats and intimidation are standard operating procedure. Try working on a building site without a ticket and see how long you last before you are threatened.
With the likelihood of the HSU being shut down and Kathy being cast to the wolves they are already arguing amonst themselves over who will get the spoils... like seagulls on an open packet of chips.
The members are just sheep that pay their fees in the same way the mafia collects for "protection". This is the culture and environment that this government has emanated from and Gillard is a product of it.
