I've held a paltry 15000 shares in Sipa for yonks and didn't sell them in the hope that something might happen. After all it was hardly worth selling them. Well now the wait may have been worthwhile.

But what is the source of this new copper discovery! Whilst the ann states that these are the best copper results at Dool since SFR's DeGrussa, we shouldn't start thinking that it is a VMS discovery like Sandfire's. It is different. But having said that, it might still be significant.

The ann speaks of a copper blanket and the need to find its primary source. It says that there could be 3 representations of the blanket (see page 2) and on page 4 it states that that Enigma and DeG are in different host rocks and possibly in in different stratigraphic successions. DeG is in mafic volcanic rocks of the Bryah basin and E is in sedimentary rocks of the Yerrida basin. However it goes on to say that the mineral occurrences share a common structural position, being in proximity to the regionally-extensive Goodin-Jenkin fault complex.

Doolgunna is a very big district and only some tenements will have the goodies. How many will be strike a lucrative DeGrussa-type VMS cluster is the big unknown, but not many I would suspect. Talisman, Thundellara and RNI are trying hard tho and they are the ones to watch IMO.

Good luck to Sipa tho and I can't wait for further news. Doolgunna may have been picked over in the past, but new techniques are revealing its hidden secrets.
