    G'day head

The employer that they interviwed made it very clear, and very simple. He employs cleaning staff - after they work 7.5 hours if he gives them extra he has to pay penalty rates. The customer won't pay the extra costs.

He and his employees would like to work extra hours at the same rate - both of them are happy to do so. Under FW he can't do that.

He and his employees would like to be able to agree on what hours they work and at what rate - the Government won't allow this. They like us back in the dark ages.

If anyone talks about modifying the system to make it flexible the unions and usual suspects on HC scream about WCs.
