Yes, it was disappointing to see MTR struggle in Melbourne. The underlying business in Sydney is exceptionally strong, if this can be replicated in Melbourne then MRN has enormous growth potential.
MRN's value will be affected by uncertainty surrounding MTR and the outcome of negotiations for the purchase of 3AW and Magic in the short term.
Being a long term investor I will continue to hold as , longer term, I believe MRN will offer compelling value and investment returns. Furthermore, i want to be in a position to participate in any capital raising should the FXJ purchase go ahead.
