    She covered her face entirely when she was after Judah. Because of that she was mistaken for a prostitute, as that was the custom of the harlots of the day.

    Yes, Islamic traditional orthodox women cover their hair as that is another of the plagerized edicts in the Koran. The Buka that they wear or are forced to wear in some Arab countries have nothing to do with Judaism.

    The Muslims felt they had to go one better that's all.

    Womens faces were always exposed amongst Jews and I would say amongst early Christians. In fact even the attire of nuns would confirm that although they are covered from head to toe, their faces are not.

    Again, I say that the only time a Jewish woman covers her face is when the marriage vows are being consecrated under the traditional Chuppah and is uncovered prior to the groom breaking the glass with his shoe.
