Goodvibe - I agree with what you say its just that Nylex is not a heavy engineering company that builds pipelines or desalination plants which will be required to solve the critical water supply problems in Australia. I'm not suggesting Nylex has no part to play in this drama, but I think its water conservation businesses are not the main game when it comes to solving such problems.

I have never understood why Australia hasn't built desalination plants on a large scale. I spent ten years in Saudia Arabia in the 1970's and saw massive investment in desalination plants from 1975 onwards. If these plants had not been built in every corner of the country Saudia Arabia would not have experienced the staggering growth that it has.
