You may have hit the nail on the head. Focus has an enviable reputation for being ethical. The 14 day extension gives all CRE shareholders a Get Out of Jail FREE card IMHO.
Is Stone's motivation for investing in CRE and AAM to secure cheap gold in the ground, which they can pay for with US$ now, while US$ are worth something? They like CRE, they like AAM, and have no reason to dislike FOCUS.
What CRE, AAM, and FML have in common is lots of gold in the ground, and a likelyhood of plenty more to be found.
