I believe you are wrong to say that 1m@3%Ni is not economic at 150m depth.
This grade translates to approx. AU$600 which is 1 oz.gold equivalent. The true width is probably closer to 0.5m but even so half a metre of ounce dirt is definately mineable.
They do however need some a lot more similar hits along strike & dip to enable the commitment of capital to a decline. I would start thinking about a feasability if they had 80m strike & 100m depth. Once you get down there the intercept would definately be in the mine envelope at current metal prices.
