Alan, I think you misunderstand where firsova is coming from. She firmly believes that if a US deal gets signed then the SP will most likely be much higher.
The qualifier for her post was that it is based on no news, she is suggesting a trading range is setting up. Once her target is achieved she will exit and come back in towards the lower end of the range. There is the off chance that a US deal will be signed while in stock, that is a bonus for her. If it happens when she is out of stock she will shrug her shoulders and maybe purchase if it meets her criteria.
Trading and investing has no firm rules, everyone dances differently.
