That is a very relevant point Shiffhead, our only competition in MPM lethal/Non lethal isn't one of the primes, but as you say they could be behind another company who is a prime?

I have always thought that metalstorm was a shoe in in the MPM, ever since they were requested to use optical fusing in their rounds, especially when you consider that optical fusing can be also be used to slow a high velocity round down just before it hits the target area.

GD can't change the velocity of the projectile without changing ammo, this is one of the real winning features for metalstorm (selectable velocity/selectable kinetic energy)that and the fact that they have more than one round in the barrel make this a winning combo IMHO.
