re: quadtel - volatility and resilience
What a lively finish. Somebody dumped over a million down to .011 but the stock rose up determinedly at the end of the day to .013 on great volume over 2.3 million. Thanks to the dumpers I got 300k more at .011 before the stock flew up again.
The best part of Quadtel is Marketing Results which has achieved over 100% sales growth to hit #26 in the BRW Fast 100 Companies prize list. They are retailing broadband and network products from some big hitter hardware and software vendors through outlets such as:
Harvey Norman Online www.harveynorman.com.au
Dick Smith Electronics www.dse.com.au
Myer / Grace Bros www.gracebros.com.au
Officeworks www.officeworks.com.au
Internatioal Software Warehouse www.iswh.com.au
Harris Technology www.ht.com.au
David Jones www.davidjones.com.au
City Software www.citysoftware.com.au
With costcutting and rationalisation of some of their sidetrack exercises QTL will have a great Q2 and be profitable in Y2003. That should prompt a solid rerating of the stock. Broadband is booming.
