Smart Money don't just hold. They have to work it up, and encourage the herd to help ie breakout traders etc but the herd can't maintain an upmove, so Smart Money have to be offering the encouragement, supporting the lows and giving it a little kick here and there to make it look good and keep those macds on the buy side to attract new buyers. Thats why they need the imbalance of supply and demand to work in their favour - hence they don't like moving forward while supply is present because it means they have to absorb more selling at higher prices.
But with ACR I don't know that they are done accumulating or redistributing yet - sometimes it needs to spend time sideways accumulating to build a CAUSE for higher prices.
