    I'm with Towie. Bought a Patrol 3.0 new in 2003. Good economy (less than 10l/100km), tows really well, comfortable drive - 1,440km in a day.

    The extra seats are much more for an adult than the Landcruiser back row, with footwells, headrests, contoured.

    With the live axles, a bit agricultural sometimes, but better on really rough tracks than anything else.

    140,000kms, only ever replaced tyres, windscreen wipers, alternator. Everything else still original (including brake pads, clutch etc.).
