If, rather than lobbing grenades, any of you guys want to actually talk about some of the details about this issue, I am more than willing.

Some of the things you might want to think about are this:

    - The effect of a NO VOTE
    - What do you do with the Board after a NO VOTE
    - Your plan to commercialise the 65% of the PEL 238 field separately from Santos
    - Why you think another major will pay more in 12 months time, if they are not willing to intervene now.

I suggest, before people start ringing up Slater and Gordon, before people start abusing the ESG Board, for them to wait and see what happens next.

Everyone is assuming that this is over. IT IS NOT OVER. All that I am suggesting is that there is no point going back to the drawing board. ESG going up the foodchain is well overdue. Now we just have to find out whether it is in a contested auction, or whether only one party wants them.

Analysis guys, not grenades, if you are brave enough?

    Yaq
