Hi Guys
Been looking into purchasing some physical silver in one form or another and have been weighing up my options between coins and bars. I was wondering if there is any advantages i am missing in regards to comparing the two options.
So far i am leaning towards the 1KG bars as i am looking at spending abit of cash to get started. The bars seam to offer the best value via weight and also the differences in the buy and sell ratios are more favourable.
For Example buy to sell ratio
1KG Coin Silver 11.11%
1KG Silver Bar 8.88%
Am i over looking the coins becuase they also appreciate in value as a collectors item as they are printed in limited numbers? Appreciate any feedback from silver bugs out there. I have attached a spreadsheet I put together today to work out some figures for comparison. Let me know if i have missed anything, thanks
