"Unfortunately, much of the non-political "new humour" is old humour."

this is true, but I think we should cut posters some slack in this, these days with high speed and instant communication - it is very hard to have a solid stream of 'new' humor material.

After all, who makes up these jokes? Jokes are often written years ago - in fact many from centuries ago - only refreshed for contemporary times.

Personally I wear thin on the political jokes - even though many are funny.

What I would like to see is - yes, it would be nice to have a separate political joke area ------------ BUT, what I would really like to see (I don't know if it would work or not) -
would be a separate area for original jokes - ie. only posters who have written the jokes could post.

If this did work and become popular, the benefits could be enormous - a forum that provided new work - a forum that could become legendary ------------- if it worked.

have a great and funny day

    Pinto
