As shown this morning (and rightfully so it is their resource) the NSW government is going to blow another 900 million hole in ALP feds mining tax revenue.

First thing the new ALP leader should do is axe the mining tax, scrap the carbon tax until it can get a coherent policy together that makes sense, and sort out the boat people issue.

Then, and only then, will the ALP start to claw back support and give them a fighting chance at the next election.
