SP, why not just lower our interest rates to ~2%. That should drop the AUD to ~US 80-90c and stimulate the economy at every level.

At the moment we pay banana republic interest rates when compared to other developed countries.

Hey, I'd almost be happy to pay a resource rent tax if the AUD was worth ~USD 80c.
