But, as you say, FNT has provided a roller coaster ride over the years with spikes both ways. Being nimble as a shareholder is/was always a prerequisite with holding FNT but I've found it to be a very rewarding experience overall.

Management have always treated the shareholders with respect, offering existing holders favourable share releases, options, at a discounted rate rather than capital raising the usual and easy way via 'sophisticated investors' (who promptly sell for a quick profit).

FNT can't be blamed for the failure of Kodu, a huge copper resource near the Kokoda track. They were 'dudded' by Government fiat - Kevin Rudd - with no obvious compensation from either the Australian or PNG governments for the expenses incurred in finding and proving up the billion dollar resource (although it could be argued that possibly the PNG Govt compensated them with FNT's current cream of the crop of leases).

I've never had a problem with FNT Management and re them as trustworthy and very competent. They have also managed local Papuan landholders fairly and well, built and owned their own drill rigs, and trained locals to operate the rigs.

After Kodu, when most explorers/companies would probably have died in the ditch, they've bounced back to a viable future and a series of potential major finds/mines.

So holders should give them a break and let them get on with it.
