If anybody is dreaming that pin was pulled on Crown affair due to the kind hearted behaviour of the individual is concerned, they need to wake up. There was a lot of work that a lot of people from SAG had done to pull the strings that moved a mountain to stop the daylight robbery.
Just because the full story was never brought into the open doesn't mean that it did not happen.
No point in washing the dirty linen in the public.
As for learning from that misadventure. My advise is to leave your house door unlocked and open. Catch the first tief that tries to rob you and instill good manners and leave the doors unlocked and open and see how long the lesson in that thief stays.
