Great summary Writer. You did well to capture so much. I was too busy taking it all in!

I think you may be right about Alan playing his cards very close. The fact that he made specific mention of the shorting issue (along with the stability and ageing issue from a shareholder concern perspective) made me also think that the company may have some significant announcements for the market in the not too distant future.

The words that he used were something like, "they are going to have to come up with real money when it happens", signalled that he was intent on beating them at their own game. He also highlighted how he thinks they may have miscalculated vis-a-vis number of UNIS shares versus UNS shares.

It seemed to be a very personal issue for him and in many respects I suppose it would be, especially given his holding. But he mentioned more than once how they have tried to get the better of the company but they have been beaten back each time.

Time will tell who gets the upper hand but I think he was trying to get the message across that he doesn't like their chances. The fact that he was so emphatic about this, along with the assurance on the capital position and the amazing array of products being developed, made it a very comforting update.

    Just my thoughts
