Disagree. The best estimate of climate sensitivity (doubling of CO2) is 3C. Global temperatures have risen about 0.8C this past century - and CO2 has only risen by approx 40%. So we are back to the point I made weeks ago - that already we are almost at the temperature rise Monckton cites as climate sensitivity - but CO2 has not nearly doubled yet - it has to rise by 100% not the current 40% to double.

We are obviously alive. Many aren't. Our family and many others I know in Australia have lost family, friends and/or loved ones because of disasters exacerbated by, if not directly caused by, global warming - as have many others around the world. As well, millions are being displaced because of weather related disasters made worse by global warming.
Right now I am looking out on the areas burnt so savagely in the Black Saturday fires, when there were record dry conditions, fierce and changing wind, and unprecedented (in the record) high temperatures during a disastrous almost decade long drought - and wondering how even the few posters here can be so complacent about global warming.
