Oh please...they couch in terms of "most likely" scenario leaving no wiggle room
Fact is the bands of movement in temp predicted and predicated upon a rise in CO2 have not eventuated
Now I no scientist but to me, if a theoretical position is put and a prediction base upon that theory is made...then depending on the results...the theory gets to move forward, adapted or gets scrapped.
All of the predictions made in terms of sea levels, temp, ice melt, sinking islands, reef losses, lost species, mass human deaths, violent weather etc etc ad nauseum have NOT proved up
So how then does the theoretical basis remain?
and that is why there has been such a mass swing AWAY from the support for "we mus do something now" on AGW that swept the world a few years back
As the lady said to JG..."we're not stupid" and when we see prediction after prediction fail, we then eventually turn to the predictors and say "please explain".
