Signs have been very strong for the past few weeks. Looks like it is happening this decoupling you mention. One of my favorite goldies, TBR, up 5 % today. Super cheap extraction costs, one of the cheapest going around in Australia. High grade deposit, 14g/t. For the financial year 2011 they had extraction costs at 615 an ounce which is pretty good considering fuel costs were up. The year before that they were about 450 an ounce. I havn't seen any mines in Australia which are cheaper when it comes to extraction costs. TRY was 554 per ounce for the financial year 2011, but they have mines in South America (Brazil and Argentina). The threat of nationalization is an issue there for me though. I prefer mines in Australia. I am sure many will disagree with that. Bolivia was talking about nationalizing mines not to long ago.
