I must admit I'm still trying to see what strategic benefit can possibly be gained by taking the approach this board has!

Assuming for a moment that there IS a massive upgrade on its way, what advantage has been gained that WOULDN'T be gained by announcing to the market, "We have received an unsolicited, highly conditional offer for the company which, in the context of our impending upgrade, we have rejected". Even a basket case like NMS has recently made a similar statement! On the other hand, the SOA route seems to limit their options...

(And a postscript for raynkaye!: You asked a while back why I was continually being moderated/suspended- the post above would be moderated on a certain other forum for two reasons- first, addressing a comment/question to more than one person and secondly for putting in quotation marks a comment which was not a direct quote from a publicly available source!)
