Nature is not the least bit interested in electronics and will always throw up variations and down right hostile events which we must learn to live with.
Basically the Earth is a mass which is always in a state of tension twisted this way and that by massive forces which NEVER relent so variation is the norm.
Somehow on this hostile environment we have managed to thrive like the rest of the microbes,there are no guarantees that we will always be here.
