the seven heads are something like the seven deadly sins

the seven mountains are the seven hills of Rome

the "harlot" or "woman" sitting on the seven hills is the city of Rome (or the Great Babylon Mark II)

these make war with the Lamb, which was the persectution of the Christians by the Romans

however, as stated in Rev17, the Lamb overcame them

what you are regarding as "prophecy" has already past
