I'm not quite sure where I inferred it wasn't correct, but for the record, I'm 100% with you. I have no doubt it's plausable. You only have to look towards the US to see that in fact it can happen :
Infact, I believe there is a good chance we will over correct, and as our 99-2001 has is already quite high historically, I wouldn't be surprised to see further falls:
