it details a 1987 engineering study that talks about small hand held mining (with some practices that would no longer be safe)
I'm no expert but figure AHK have to sink a few holes to confirm, maybe extend it if they can. update a feasibility, then make a decision to commence small scale high grade mining
(similar in style to KRM maybe?)
that's probably why they could mine so quickly
