I am sorry @ff but it is beyond wishful thinking to say a substantial share holder can not just cash in their holdings when the price is good for them. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but such holdings take many months to sell on the market, and hold the share price down as everyone knows there is a big seller. Any sale to another insto would also be at substantial discount, and the prospect of such a sale in the future would also push the share price down. Would you be pay top dollar for something you knew the seller was desperate to get rid of?

I would like to do more than just sit on my holding thinking the share price will go up 50% on the next two weeks, but ... I do think that FML has done their homework on this, and they have come to the conclusion to keep on extending. The question is why do they think it is better than closing out the deal on their current holding? And then what prospects for short to medium term gains for the share price if I hold, as opposed to going for short term gains on GOLD ETF with less risk, then buy back into FML later? These questions are not rhetorical, but I think justify more of a response than such wishful thinking.

One thing I wondered was are they hoping to avoid converting their debt into shares, but rather get to a position where they can just get the cash back when they dominate CRE? I have not read the original terms of that deal.
