in about 2003 i was researching a company called fortescue FMG.
From memory the sp was about $3 - unfortunately - damnation and all the other words i could recall - i didn't buy.

FMG went to about $70 over the next few years. Then FMG did a share expansion of 10 for 1 - so the sp was expected to go to about $7 (interestingly not far from where it is today.

Then these new $7 shares rose to about $13 before the GFC.

I wish i had the confidence to buy and hold FMG in 2003.

IMO Atlas is the closest thing i can see to early FMG. I won't make the mistake a second time.

By the way if you look at the historic FMG price charts they show significant volatility.

I am sticking with AGO and doing a bit of trading. If AGO is properly expanded and the ore price remains high then AGO could conceivably be another FMG.

I applaud DF for making such a challenging announcement.
