BHP's market cap is about a third of Greece's GDP. Greece's debt is a fair bit larger than their GDP. The issue is not Greece - it's a fairly small debt compared to that of Italy. ECB and China will be buying Italian bonds, and that country has approved austerity to balance budget in the next few years. This Europe into the abyss story is getting old now.
