Hey all
Santos want ESG's gas and are very keen. How many times is the first offer the best offer in business?
Let's say a NO vote gets up, Santos going to walk away? Don't think so.
If it does get up the caretakers should be sent to shore up Tintsfield as they should have done before starting this stupidity. Once they have done that, Santos can make an offer commensurate with the realistic assets of ESG.
ESG to be a small entity within the Santos empire, why ? The lads still have a job and the club sits within the club - nice outcome for the lads?
Really, these guys can't direct resources to the right places in the entity, eg, GSAs, Tintsfield, etc and spray it around in the wrong places and then cry poor and have to rush into this deal.
These guys are no match for Santos as they seem to lack basic business acumen, maths and cash flow management.
It will be a boy's club within the men's club. How long will they last once the deal is done?
I will vote no unless the resources are factored in the price, Santos are going no-where except to dig into the pockets further.
ORG >$2.....:)
best to all
