KCN have spent around US$95 million on the Chatree North Gold Mine expansion and are are once again sitting, twiddling their thumbs, ready to mine but not allowed to do so while Thai red tape plays out for the final approval to mine that was expected some time ago.
They claim to be business friendly in Thailand but have absolutely no idea how they consistently damage business - as KCN has found out on numerous occasions - with mazes of slow red tape to get through that basically ignores how an efficient company needs to operate.
