OK MT if nothing is done how long by your figures before we are all doomed and what form will the "dooming"take?

You quote domestic airtravel and transport at 13.9% percent of emissions(suggest these figures are way out of line your models really need checking,I would like to see your workings)

You claim coal generation emmissions at 37%.

You cant be serious and ignore International aircraft take off's and landings, all the taxiing!!
Together all such movements exceed your other figures by some margin it is cherry picking to do otherwise.

I still repeat MT that the saving of 5% of 1.75% which is 0.0875 is a figure below the margin of error when based on computermodels.

All this by 2020,you cannot be serious.

The renewables are already in trouble as you know ,gas is the only feasible option plus clean coal.

Good clean coal technology exported with Australian coal might make a difference, carbon tax won't even put a dent in your perceived problem.

    Hope you sleep well.
