Don't worry, berretta - it would probably be after you and I are gone. Current estimates are around +4C-5C by the end of the century if we keep on the current emissions path. But it could be more. Most places would see serious problems by mid-century. The last decade would probably have a sudden sea level rise by some projections, which won't help matters.
MT I just picked up on the point you made that current ESTIMATES cover a range of 9oC by the end of the century.?
"Probably " have a sea rise ???
You can see my dilema here MT not one definitive statement.
You cannot write legislation on these sorts of models.
Don't worry about being wrong on the figures for the emmissions trading scheme the so called experts are making it up as they go along,,trailed a bunch of these experts in Sydney and watched them go to lunch, amazed how many had beer and wine with there salad.....and they claim to be efficient? Believe me in private business they would not be employed for 5 minutes.
Back to the original point tho are you now saying that temps could go DOWN by -5oC ??
